All Aboard with History’s Heroes: TheRustyBucketKids.com TV Show. TheRustyBucketKids.com announces a Whistle Stop in historic downtown Apex (Peak City), supporting Western Wake Crisis Ministry Annual Food Drive on Saturday, September 7th at 7 pm. Doors open at 6:45 pm. The Rusty Bucket Shop one of the filming locations for the TV show, has for a number of years used the month of August to raise awareness for those in our community in need. Please bring a donation for admission. The food item list is below.
Saturday September 7th is the final day of collection of food for the Western Wake Crisis Ministry during this special food drive. They will always take donations year round.
The Rusty Bucket Shop will also have their Fall Open House from 10 am until 6 pm on September 7th. Stop by and meet Mack, The Shop Clerk, and Pam, The Shop Keeper. Come listen to the music in the shop sit in Grandpa Peakssen’s chair as seen in the show.
At 7 pm the Whistle Stop starts down the street at The Halle Cultural Arts Center just a block away from The Rusty Bucket Shop. You will watch the multiple Emmy® Nominated and multiple Telly Award® winning first episode of History’s Heroes: TheRustyBucketKids.com – Lincoln, Journey to 16, as approved for family viewing for all ages by the Dove Foundation. This is the same episode as seen locally on WRAL TV 5 and FOX50. Come sit with members of the cast and producers. Roxanna & The Rusty Bucket Band will perform music from the TV show as created by Craig Brandwynne from Center Sound Records. “Kids love the upbeat and gentle lyrics of the TV show.” states show creator John M. Demers. Christopher Anderson Reed, from Blue Jeans Piano joins Roxanna & The Rusty Bucket Band as the Musical Director for this performance. As a special bonus, Roxanna will perform songs from Read With Max the award winning children’s books about Max a very awesome dog. The books and songs are being worked into a new animated TV series.
